With over two and a half decades of experience in sales and executive management
positions in travel and franchising industries, Colleen has served as an
unsalaried Executive Director at Vine Maple Place since its inception. Colleen
is an active member of Maple Valley Presbyterian Church and has been married to
Ron Starr since 1975.

Ron oversees the financial and technological matters for Vine Maple Place, as
well as the refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of the properties owned and
leased by Vine Maple Place. He is also treasurer for VMP’s board of directors.
Ron and his wife, Colleen, attend Maple Valley Presbyterian Church where he
serves as an elder.

With over 14 years experience working with individuals and families dealing with
life challenges such as addictions, domestic violence, and disabilities, Linda
attends church in Bellevue.
CHILD ADVOCATE

Marcia Robinson

Marcia oversees the children’s program, focusing on the health, safety, and
well-being of the children who reside at Vine Maple Place. For seven years, she
taught at Kent Covenant Christian Preschool. She has also served as a Bible
Study Fellowship children’s leader and with foster-receiving care for an
adoption agency. The mother of four and grandmother of five, Marcia attends Cedarcreek Covenant Church in Maple Valley.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Dana keeps the office running smoothly and coordinates our wonderful volunteers.
For fourteen years she has served on the board of the Maple Valley Food Bank,
six of those as president. She also spent ten years developing its Gift Program.
Dana attends Real Life Church in
Maple Valley.
RECEPTIONIST / STAFF SUPPORT

Janette Layton,
B.S., Psychology with emphasis in Family Studies

Janette serves as our friendly and helpful receptionist as well as assisting the
rest of the team on projects. The mother of six children, Janette attends Christ Community Baptist Church in Puyallup.
PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Education with specialization in Children and Family Services

Carra's many years of experience qualify
her to assist with case management, housing calls, and helping the homeless
children and families who live at Vine Maple Place. Carra is also the
pastor's wife at Veritas church in Auburn.
MAINTENANCE SUPPORT

Glenn Wolff
Glenn handles the
ever-growing responsibility of maintaining the apartment homes, the grounds, and
the Family Support Center. Glenn attends Lake Sawyer Christian Church in Black
Diamond. |
