If you are passionate about helping homeless children and their families overcome...

· homelessness

· hopelessness

· poverty

· domestic violence

· the effects of physical, emotional, sexual, and substance abuse

· lack of spiritual growth

...then this is the place for you to volunteer!

You don’t need to be an expert on homelessness. All you need is a heart to share the time and abilities you do have with those who are less fortunate.

current volunteer needs:

• Decorating Divas Team. Team positions include the fascinating titles of Secret Shopper, Wish List-Registry-Shower Organizer, Super Seamstress Extraordinaire, Donation Investigator, and “A Place for Everything and Everything in Its Place” coordinator.

• Coordinator for the Home-Turnaround Team which paints the units and takes care of any minor repairs before new families move in. The coordinator would be responsible for alerting team volunteers regarding tasks to be completed.

• Painters for the Home-Turnaround Team as we spruce up the homes’ interiors for new families. You can work with a group or alone, as your schedule allows.

• Program volunteers to assist the Case Management Team with housing research, organizing resource materials, phone calling, and other tasks related to helping our residents.

• Office cleaning

• Coordination of lunch pick-up and delivery for Saturday work groups

• Weekly yard work
