From Fear to Freedom: Alleigha’s Story

Alleigha was living in constant fear. The man she once trusted had become violent, and it was no longer safe for her or her teenage son. She fled with nothing, sleeping in her car while her son stayed with a friend. Her abuser was still looking for her. She didn’t feel safe anywhere.

At Vine Maple Place, she found what she needed most—safety. She wasn’t alone anymore.

With support from her housing specialist, she started financial and employment classes and found a job with a livable wage. Today, Alleigha has something she hasn’t felt in years—peace. Her family is safe in their new home, and she’s on her way to lasting stability.
