Before coming to Vine Maple Place, my daughter and I were experiencing homelessness and living in my car. During one of the most difficult times in my life, Vine Maple Place provided us with safe shelter, stability, and support.
One of the goals I set for myself was earning my GED. My Training and Education Specialist encouraged me every step of the way and helped make that goal possible. Vine Maple Place paid for my GED tests and practice tests, removing financial barriers that would have made it much more difficult to succeed.
With their support, I was able to earn my GED, an accomplishment that means a great deal to me and my family’s future. This achievement has given me more confidence in myself and opened the door to new educational and career opportunities.
I am incredibly grateful to Vine Maple Place for believing in me, investing in my future, and providing the resources and encouragement I needed to reach this goal. Their support has made a lasting difference in my life, and I am proud of what I have accomplished.
